The Great Reconciler: with Justine Humphreys

The word “reconcile” means to make something right, or bring it into agreement or harmony. It comes from the Latin word “conciliare” which means “bring together.” Separation occurred on the day man moved away from God and a reconciler was required to close the gap. Advent marks the grand entrance of the ultimate reconciler!

To fully grasp how beautiful the Christmas season is, we need to look at the significance of the brokenness of human relationships, and then through the birth of Jesus, reflect on what He continues to bring back together. Understanding the condition of our relationships without Christ will make worshipping Him the only response our hearts can muster. Remind yourself that in Christ you are a new creation because Jesus reconciled you to God.
