The call to live a good life: with Monica O’Neil

The start of a new year is a good time to reflect on the call to live a good life. I’m Monica O’Neil from Vose. Aspiring to rob, cheat and become meaner is not on most of our New Year lists. Usually we turn our sights towards the gym life, the healthy eating life, the drop that old habit life, that find a better job life.

I wonder what it would be like if our aspirations stretched into the wild blue yonder. What if we aspired to live in community, to live connected with people, aspired to kindness and helping others. It’s good to take care of ourselves, but I do wonder if deep inside we long for love and commitment and rich community. It’s just not that inspiring to live for ourselves.

We are all called to something good, what good are you called to?
