Big enough to offer competitive facilities.
Small enough to be accessible and attentive.
Vose is situated in Hayman Road, Bentley, about 9km from Perth’s city centre and opposite Curtin University.
The Vose compound is shaded by many tall Maritime pine trees, has two student carparks, and is close to the Curtin bus station.
Growth in recent years has enabled Vose to improve our on-site facilities significantly, refreshing and redesigning some parts, and adding new areas. We continue to improve and develop our site as funds allow.
In 2016, a new $1.3 million learning complex was opened, named The John Olley Centre, in honour of our former Principal. Consisting of three lecture rooms, a reception area, kitchen, toilets and an outdoor entertainment area, it can be opened out into one large auditorium, capable of hosting up to 200 people.
The more established areas such as the original lecture rooms, dining rooms and the library are kept well-maintained and freshly painted, with bright modern artwork and lounges throughout. The library has been recently fully air-conditioned. There is plenty of natural light coming into the learning rooms, and we optimise outdoor areas to be both alfresco common areas as well as suitable for prayer, reading, and solitude.
The Student Team keep the dining room supplied with free coffee and tea, and there are other common areas such as the Student Room with games, TV and lounge room style seating to kick back and regroup after lectures.
Accommodation is available on campus for students and affiliates which is subject to availability.
A campus map is in the Student Handbook, but you will find staff and other students happy to point you in the right direction.
Our facilities are available to hire for events both big and small.
