About the Course

The aim of this course is to train you for ministry by showing you how to implement what you learn in a classroom into real life ministry contexts. We do this through providing expert trainers and a flexible program. You can study either full-time or part-time, and the course is available both on-campus and online.

Course Structure

The course structure is simple. The Certificate IV in Ministry is made up of 8 units. 4 of those units are Core Units (you must complete them) and 4 of them are Elective Units (you get to choose). This means that you get the benefit of a solid grounding in what is most important through the core units, but then you can choose which direction you go in from there!

The Core Units are:

  • Old Testament Study
  • New Testament Study
  • Exploring Christian Theology
  • Spiritual Formation

The elective unit offerings change from year to year. For a list of what is currently being offered, both online and on-campus, check out the timetables below. For a full list of unit descriptions, click here.
